About Me
Mona Chergui was a HR Director, managing global people and organizational development needs for a variety of organisations including Médecines Sans Frontières, Save the Children, and Plan International. Key to her success in senior posts was her ability to coach managers, developing their skills and supporting them to achieve career goals.

During her HR career she successful managed several wellbeing projects, and reviewed psychosocial support for INGO’s, ensuring staff in emergency settings were properly supported in post, and upon their return.

As her HR developed, Mona volunteered with community projects and helplines, including the Samaritans. In 2018 she made the decision to change career and focus on mental health and wellbeing projects. Since then she has worked on peer support schemes, creating an Apostate support network, and developing a Covid pastoral support service for anyone in need, particularly those who had been bereaved during the pandemic. She has also been a volunteer with Childline.

As a Brit living in Ireland, Mona loves the Irish sense of humour, welcoming friendly nature, and Irish tea.

Mona has a MSc in Psychology, and a MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
